Chicago Cubs
Now, if the Sox don’t get you excited, the Chicago Cubs might. This Major League team plays out of the historic Wrigley Field and has done so since 1916. Often called the North Siders, this team has a fanatical fan base and is deeply rooted in Chicago culture.
Its legendary players have included Ron Santo, Ernie Banks and Billy Williams. Current players include such big names in the sport as Ryan Dempster, Kerry Wood, Henry Blanco and Rich Hill. The team is managed by a legend, as well – Lou Piniella. They have won 2 World Series titles and 16 NL Pennants. However they have not won a World Series title since 1908 and have not been in a World Series since 1945.
